Don’t Give in to the Dark Side

Since the beginning of the month I have seen multiple people post about how January is normally the “bluest” time of the year. To clarify that would make January the most depressing month.

I’m not really sure why this is so. With most of the world following the Gregorian calendar it is the start of a new year. Another 365 days to shape into however you see fit.  Make the most of it as they say.

At current the scales are tipped more towards the positives for me. This has greatly helped me maintain a positive outlook on things. I will do my damndist to stay on the positivity train as well and I’m going to bring as many people along for the ride as possible. Kicking and screaming if need be. It has been seeming to me lately that too many have been trying to rain on my parade and it’s just not going to happen.

Friday the 13th also happens to be right around the corner. I get that there are many bad connotations attached to this day on the calendar, but what of it. How about we just let it pass like any other day on the calendar. Unless we are going to declare it a Federal holiday and then were going to be handing out holiday pay then I’m game.

In all seriousness though. If your having a rough go at it don’t give in to despair. Regardless of your problem or station in life just keep on keeping on. It most likely can’t get worse.
