Standard Operating Procedure

In the past I have discussed about there being three ways to do something. The right way, the wrong way, and the scouting way. I also went on to discuss how sometimes there can only be one way to do something because of safety or importance. If there is a normal accepted pattern of doing something and then all of a sudden it goes way off course from the normally scheduled program I would cease and desist.

Continuing on off the beaten path can sometimes be disastrous. At best it causes some minor inconveniences at worst it turns a situation into a total cluster fuck. I’m not saying thinking outside the box is a bad thing, but you need to remember that should something go awry there are consequences. Tread carefully.
